Home sick / And I want to leave home is a part of ongoing collaboration between Fiona Burke and Danny Brennan that chronicles the uneasy sci-fi reality of returning from lock-down to a world radically changed and yet tragically the same. Using poetry, flash fiction and photography to look at what is through what could be.
Danny Brennan
- is a collaborative artist and writer. Danny dreams through archives, working with spectres of the past and futures. Danny’s work often experiments with methodologies to collaboratively tell stories to create microcosm of words that could be. Danny has been an A4 sounds studio member since 2015 and is currently doing an MA in Creative Writing in the University of Limerick.

Fiona Burke
- is a creative producer and arts manager, working between Dublin and Limerick. She holds a BA in Art History and English Literature from UCD Dublin and is currently studying an MA in Social Practice and the Creative Environment at LSAD Limerick. Her practice is informed by a fascination with nature, film and the unknown. She enjoys working with audiences of all ages. Presenting works in unconventional settings, from exhibitions in old station houses to film screenings in Georgian Churches. Sociality, subjectivity and visceral experience are foregrounded, as is the joy of reading , sharing voices and generating images. She is interested in embodiment , desire, identity, hauntology and liminal spaces.
