Video & Essay, 10:18 min
This video is a visual representation of an essay entitled “Heterotopias” as well as a reaction to it. The essay and film were made in tandem with each other; each reacting to the other, each serving as precursor to the other, each informing how the other would delve into the idea of a heterotopia through the lens of concrete.
“It is the idea of a utopia put into practice somehow, thereby becoming corrupted, which creates a heterotopia.”
